Not a quality bar. Definitely not an Oly bar. Very much on the cheaper end of bars, one notch above the cap bar that costs $80 or so. I will be taking It apart as the grinding, while barely spinning, does not indicate needle bearings. I can see the cheap brass bushings most cheap bars have.
The reviewer above stated this bar is like a $800-900 bar...no, not even close. I cannot compare the Uesaka bars as that would be an insult to the skilled craftsman who made the Uesaka bars. Yes, I paid full price for all my bars and I am not affiliated with any company.

The knurling is ok, typical for this range of bars on the lower end of the bar spectrum.

I have 2 Uesaka men's competition bars, one Uesaka female competitions bar, and one REP Stainless oly bar. The Rep stainless is worlds above for about $200-$250 more (depending on the sales available).

It also came with a thick coating of oil inside a thick plastic bag. The packaging was ok, as it came in a box with Styrofoam forms around the bag with the bar inside.

This is the first Amazon review I’ve ever written. Let me start by saying this. I have been competitively weightlifting (oly) for 10 years. I am a student of the sport and a total nerd so things like nice barbells really peak my interest. I’ll keep it simple. If had to play “price is right�?with this barbell I’d say 800-900 dollars. It’s that nice. IWF markings, very very similar knurling to the new Eleiko IWF bars (I just completed on them at the New England championships), amazing whip, Etc. the list goes on. And stainless shaft is just incredible for this price and spec.

If you’re looking for a really nice barbell for under $500 this is absolutely the best option I’ve had my hands on. (I train typically on all Eleiko competition bars)

The sleeves are 16�? long enough to stack a lot of weight on. and it can fit 2" weights for weightlifting, bench press, deadlifting and so on. Multipurpose bar!
